Tool Time Tuesday- Spellbinders Artisan X-plorer Machine

Hello there!

Thanks for tuning in today. 

The tool I'm pleased to share with you today is the brand new Artisan X-plorer by Spellbinders. It's a manual die cutting machine that actually is very strong and can cut metal! It's industrial strength and can emboss as well as cut giving you great texture possibilities.

They also have made accompanying metal pieces that can work in conjunction with the X-plorer.

Tool Time Tuesday- Tim Holtz Alterations Sizzix Die Cuts

Hello Crafters! 

Yes, I am sharing Tim Holtz latest Alterations Die Cuts by Sizzix that he debuted at Winter CHA 2013 by way of the awesome Noell Hyman of Paperclipping.com.

These fantastic die cuts are so innovative and dynamic. They are most definitely useful tools for any crafter's arsenal.

Tool Time Tuesday- E6000 Spray Adhesive

Yes crafty friends, you read that right!

It's E6000 spray adhesive. If you already use & love the E6000 gel adhesive tube you know how truly strong and reliable it is. And so when I saw in my research that the fantastic folks of E6000 were offering it in a spray medium I just flipped. 

Adhesive for us crafters is such an important thing that I view it as a tool so that is why I decided to feature it as this week's tool.

This new version of E6000 adhesive has no odor, the same strong adhesion factor & the ability to be cleaned up with water.  It works on paper, plastic, wood, foam and many other materials.

E6000 spray adhesive is going to be released for retail purchase really soon and will start at $8.99 USD retail price & up for 8 ounces depending on the retailer and region. 

I already use the gel but can see myself using this amazing method of adhesive delivery as well.

Tool Time Tuesday- The Golden Cuttlebug

The machine is a lovely piece but what we love more than its looks is the lo tech, high impact effect of the Cuttlebug.

This debuted on HSN.COM along with a configuration of embossing folders and it sold out. Not sure when they will be getting more in stock but it sure seems like a good one to keep an eye out for so you can add it to your crafting arsenal. 

Can never go wrong with Anna Griffin products. It's sophisticated, elegant crafting at its' finest. 

Tool Time Tuesday- An Envelope Punch Board

It's that time again crafters and this time We R Memory Keepers has brought us another clever tool which they debuted at the Winter CHA 2013 Show.

It's their Envelope Punch Board. With this board you can make over 60 sizes of envelopes.

Wouldn't it be a great way to make use of all that extra paper in our stash? C'mon, you know as well as I do- we hoard paper.

With this tool you will be able to customize and coordinate your own envelopes with your handmade cards. What a treat for the recipient!

Tool Time Tuesday- Sticky Sticks

Hey Crafters it's that time again. 

And yes, STICKY STICKS are a thing! In fact, they were a big thing at the Winter CHA 2013 Show. 

What are they you ask? 

Sticky Sticks are tongue depressor-sized craft sticks with the most amazing adhesive on one side of one end. They stick permanently to paper, ribbon, felt, foam, and wood. 

These would be ideal for pinwheels, pennants, flags, signs, puppets and many other crafty creations you want on a stick! You can even paint the wood portion of the stick to coordinate with your project. 

I view Sticky Sticks as a tool because they can help you accomplish great craft success by using them. 

Keep an eye out for these at a crafty retailer near you.

Tool Time Tuesday- It's a Roller Doodle!

Brought to us by the fabulous Glitz Girls...It's their DOODLE ROLLERS! They are stamps in roller form and boy do they ever look easy and fun to use.  Last time I checked a stamp was a tool right?
Who knew it could look this cute and give you those fantastic results?

Aren't these just divine? Just imagine how much whimsy and character you can add with the roll of one of these babies. You simply add your ink & roll away.  There are more styles too. 

They are clever and ergonomically created to make crafting fun. I was not able to find the price on these just yet, they're not out in retail but should be really soon.

I'm thinking we gotta have these.

You can create and cut your own designs and use the fonts already installed on your computer with the Portrait as well.

 It retails for $199.99 USD, cuts a maximum width of 8 inches, weighs only 3.5 pounds and has a smaller footprint altogether.

It's a great alternative to the Cameo if you find that one too pricey or if it's more than you need.  What a great gift for your wish list!
