CRAFTING TIP OF THE WEEK (#19) USING ACRYLIC STAMPS FOR MORE THAN STAMPING...GASP!

Hi All.

This week's tip has to do with acrylic stamps.
MORE THAN JUST FOR STAMPING...
I recently discovered a batch of acrylic stamps that had no adhesion factor to them whatsoever. I tried several things to get them to adhere to my blocks & some adhesives did work but then I thought...

Why not use the actual acrylic stamp as a 3 dimensional embellishment and so I did!
Now I am on a roll & can't stop. They look so cool.
Since I have quite a large stamp collection and many of the sentiments in this faulty batch are similar to many of my other stamps I figured out another use for these and they are just so much fun.
You can use stickles and acrylic paint on them which really makes them pop.
OH how I wish I had a camera so I could post pics.
When adhering them to your books, pages or projects just be sure to use permanent adhesive. Preferrably in the form of Glue Dots or E3000. This will secure that they stay in place for many years to come.

Happy Crafting!

  1. What a fabulous idea...I get so annoyed when mine loose their "stickiness"
